This is a secondary top competition organized by goalunited FA, competition includes 2nd and 3rd placed clubs from the top 50 National Division 1 league.
The qualified teams come from two pots, where 1 pot has 2 qualified teams from each league and 1 pot has 1 qualified team from each league:

Each team plays home and away matches.
Rules:
One manager can only have 1 club participating in GU Bronze League.
If the manager has multiple clubs who qualified from different leagues, the club which is oldest get advantage and can participate, manager will always get only 1 invitation in such case.
1. Invites sent must be accepted by midnight following a 48 hour period after sending.
2. You need to confirm by a message or on the forum under the relevant ECL thread, a simple no if you do not want to participate will be fine. Those who choose not to participate and do not respond will be banned from both ECL competitions indefinitely. Those who do respond with no will be invited to future competitions of which they have qualified.
3. Once midnight has been reached after the 48-hour period an invite will be sent to the next team in the division unless they have qualified with another team, or they have been banned and it goes again to the next team.
4. If the reserve team in the division does not accept, then a list of all leagues that have accepted correctly first time will be put into a random draw. Invites will be sent to the first in that list and so on until the 64 places have been filled.
5. The same 48-hour conditions apply to the reserve teams.
6. Logins will be monitored, and the 48-hour time period doesn’t start until the first login after the invite has been sent. This allows for sickness, work, or family commitments etc.
7. If you don’t respond or accept with the correct team, your league will not be included into the draw for the reserve list.
The handicap is not activated.
Exceptions:
GU Bronze League qualified team can replace GU:ECL qualifier in case that manager has two GU:ECL qualified clubs.
This means that 2nd placed in such case in some of leagues can qualify for GU ECL and their spot in GU Bronze League will go to the champion of that league.
Competition rules/start:
The eighth season of the GU Bronze League starts on 23rd April 2024
Invitations for the competition are always sent after the main ECL competition has started
Rewards:
Group winners after 6 matches and 2nd placed receive 700 GU STARS each while 3rd and 4th receive 350 GU STARS each.
Each knockout phase pays the same number of STARS to the winner and losing team after 2 played matches.
The winner receives 1000 GU STARS
The losing team receives 500 GU STARS
Champion of GU Bronze League will receive 15.000 GU STARS
The losing finalist receives 7500 GU STARS.
Important:
The competition is still a work in progress. Any change for future seasons is not excluded.
All matches are played in Custom-made United competitions, this means there is no negative effect on players.
